Not a bad idea to put a link and a message of support in your sig in your forums. Its an easy static way to get the idea out to people.

I will post an update in our website (www.rebellion.es/magicrebel/).

We have access to a big portion of Spanish MTG community. We will link this forum to our forums (5K Users) and invite people to register here.

Cheers,

FYI to SCG writers. My entire section on this place and OP got cut out by Craig, so if you see this, you might want to run it by him before shipping your articles. I posted a piece of the cut stuff in the forums under my article.

It appears that StarCity isn't permitting this in their articles. I had a paragraph or so in my article today that was also cut out before going live. We tried!

Hey guys. I co-host an MTG podcast called DeckConstruct (deckconstruct.com), and we'll be talking about the players union on next week's show.

It's strange that SCG is cutting mentions of the union from articles. Doing that weakens their credibility a bit, especially given that many of their writers are likely to be sympathetic to the union's goals.

I'm just letting u know that there has been discution created by myself on the major MTG Site in the country, I rep - Ukraine!
So I'm down for what you are trying to do and do ur thang - we have faith in u!

PS: Big slops to the SCG.com editorials staff - i mean cmon ... thats some hoed ass censorship out there if people can not say stuff like bout this business in their articles!
I am really xpecting the PChapin to succeed at this in his monday's article!

This is a brilliant idea as long as it will reach out to all formats of organized play.

Then if we have our way and support, then we could see other formats supported on the grand stage that would otherwise would have never seen major play at all such as the invitational formats.

Hey, come on I'd like to see Winston Drafting and Choose your Own T2 on that stage.

I have written a rather long article for the German site www.planetmtg.de:

http://www.planetmtg.de/articles/artikel.html?id=3599

Anyone who can read German might be interested, anyone else... well, babelfish's always good for a laugh.

For the most part it's about why I think the very existence of pros is good for the game, and it concludes with a direct request to all the readers to register in this forum here – I know quite a few have already done so. cheers

My guess is that the Mothership and SCG have a sort of casual partnership in bouncing links to each other in their articles (especially things like Flores' cross-pollinating his two columns...)

I can't imagine that SCG really wants to endanger that relationship by allowing content that is somewhat inflammatory on their site, both in the feature and non-feature areas.

Just speculation, and I'm not trying to hate on Craig's very well done site of which I am a premium subscriber. Smile

Also: mentioned it in my blog at tcgplayer.com. I randomly get put in the "community spotlight", so it might end up there. Of course, I don't know how their little committee feels about our cause, so I may not get it selected for just that reason. But it's up, regardless.
